Registration & Waiver Information: 
 
Your team DOES NOT need to register for this tournament. By playing in the CYLA Spring 2013 season, your team is automatically placed into the tournament. It is required, however, that each and every player complete a waiver to participate in the Mountain States Toyota CYLA State Championship. The waivers are completed online and are available now. The waiver is sourced by clicking the CYLA State Championship Player Waiver link on the left side of this web page.

Note: This waiver is different and separate from any waiver you may have signed on behalf of your child during the registration period prior to the 2013 CYLA season and is MANDATORY for participation in the Mountain States Toyota CYLA State Championship.

Tournament Seeding & Brackets:  

Teams will be seeded for the tournament based on regular season results. The CYLA will assign seeds to teams according to league policies and will provide them to NDP Lacrosse for bracket placement. Championship bracket and game times will be available on the NDP website the morning of May 16th.

The 2013 Mountain States Toyota CYLA State Championship schedule will be released May 15^th.


Tournament Format: 

Each team will play at least 2 games over the course of the tournament weekend. At the start of the tournament, every team will be placed into the "Championship Bracket" in its respective division. Every team, regardless of regular season results, will still have a chance to make a run at the state championship within their bracket. Winners in the first round will continue on in the Championship Bracket while losers in the first round will drop to a consolation bracket for at least one more game. Each bracket will play ALL their games either on Saturday or Sunday; teams will not be required to play games on both days of the Championship.

Saturday Games: all U9, U11, and U13 teams, as well as U12 Blue
Sunday Games: all U8, U10, and U15 teams, as well as U12 White and Red

Note:  Depending on the number of teams in each division, some divisions may have brackets that give a certain number of teams a bye into further rounds where they will wait to meet winners of the early round action. When the brackets are released, check your team's division to see if any byes exist for certain teams. Any available byes will go to the highest available seeded teams as appropriate.

Bracket Updates/Information:

Throughout the tournament, we will maintain up-to-date printed brackets for viewing in the Fan Zone area north of field 8. Feel free to stop by as often as you would like to check the brackets.

We will also be posting scores live to our website, www.ndplacrosse.com. On tournament day, you will be able to select your division and see scores and future game assignments on-line.
